One of my teams of OC mutants...

Real name: Ian Alexander McCool
Codename: Spartan
Mutant ability (Initial): Due to a physiology featuring super strong bones, musculature, and hyper-accelerated metabolism, Spartan possesses superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, agility, and a certain level of invulnerability. He is able to lift (press) up to 10 tons with little difficulty. He can run at speeds up to 90 mph flat out from anywhere near thirty minutes to an hour and a half before feeling a tinge of fatigue. He can go from 0 to 30 in ten seconds. His muscles are so efficient that he could catch a glass falling from the height of a mere foot to the ground within two milliseconds. He has a vertical leap that can reach heights up to over fifty feet. His sinew has the tensile strength of military steel and his bones are comparable to titanium. This results in a strangely heavy body weight, despite a defined physique.
Mutant ability (Secondary): In time, Spartan will develop the ability to shift into an organic steel form which will increase his strength and durability tenfold.
Personality: Up until his powers manifested, Ian was a frail, scrawny, painfully shy teen. Afterward, he still retains all of the vestiges of his nerdy nature, still socially awkward but well-meaning. He is exceptionally bright and enjoys puny dialogue.

Real name: Cameron Simone Halliwell
Codename: Voodoo
Mutant ability (Initial): Able to project her consciousness into an energy state that can travel long distances outside her body, avoid physical injury, and can fire projectiles of disruptive surges of psionic energy. Telepathic. Clairvoyant (Precognition/Postcognition). Psychometric. Low-grade telekinesis which only activates when stressed/endangered. Psionic energy projection. Psionic energy shielding. Can enter a person's body while in her Astral Form and, in effect, become that person, hijacking their mind (and if they are a mutant, their powers) until either her physical body is disturbed, she is knocked unconscious in the host body, or the host body's consciousness overpowers her own and forces her out.
Mutant ability (Secondary): In time, Voodoo will develop psychokinesis, long range telepathy, remote viewing, complete awareness of her surroundings (meaning, even hidden things will be obvious to her), and thought-form projection in which she can create tangible creations of psionic energy, including convincingly real holographic doppelgangers dubbed Astral Twins. Her ability of psionic energy manipulation will grow to allow her to create anything from temporary reality-altering shields during battle to concussive energy blasts, lances, spheres, and a limitless array of other forms.
Mutant ability (Tertiary): Ultimately, Voodoo will develop the Omega level powers of a telepath/telekinetic to rival even those of Professor X, Jean Grey, and Emma Frost. Not only that, but her probability altering powers will become nearly as powerful as those of the Scarlet Witch as well as becoming a candidate for being a vessel for the Phoenix Force.
Personality: Kind and helpful, Cameron is quiet and reserved with an unspoken grace and strength reminiscent of legendary X-Woman, Storm. She doesn't get angry easily, but she is a force to be reckoned with when she is. Overall she just really wants to make a difference in the world.

Real name: Tobias Conrad Fallon
Codename: Fallen
Mutant ability (Initial): Fallen possesses peak human strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, eyesight, and hearing, hollow bone structure, zero body fat in his body, feathered wings allowing flight, healing power in his blood rejuvenates him and anyone with a compatible blood type it touches.
Mutant ability (Secondary): Fallen will eventually be able to produce an airborne toxin which will illicit symptoms similar to the flu. Depending on the strength of the toxic emissions he makes through his pores, he could simply incapacitate or kill an adversary.
Personality: Aloof and distant, Toby is your typical brooding angst-ridden teen. He can seem like a jerk sometimes because of his natural penchant for being off-putting, but underneath it all, Toby is just a confused young man trying to come to grips with his mutation and the strain it's placed on his already dysfunctional family.

Real name: Gabriella Inez Ramirez-Santos
Codename: Menagerie
Mutant ability (Initial): Ability to sync up with the Morphogenetic Field of Earth which allows her, among other abilities, to tap into the the abilities of animals on the planet earth. When she uses these abilities, sometimes she is encased in a visible, tangible aura of the creature she is emulating. Due to the nature of her first use of her ability, she retains certain abilities gained from syncing with a cheetah, including razor-sharp claws and fangs, enhanced speed and agility, flexibility, strength, senses, and reaction time. She also possesses the "Doctor Doolittle" ability of animal communication.
Mutant ability (Secondary): In time, Menagerie will gain the power of animal shape-shifting by way of syncing to an animal's signature the way she does to gain their abilities.
Personality: Talkative and bubbly, Gabbie attempts to be friends with everyone she meets, whether they want to be or not. She loves animals, obviously, and is a practicing vegan. She is passionate about her friendships and loves both her real family and her X-Family.

Real name: Kaitlyn Lynette Quinn
Codename: Wildcard
Mutant ability (Initial): The power to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy thus “charging” that item with explosive results. The only real limitation to this ability is the time required to charge the object. The larger it is the more time it takes. Most charging takes place through direct skin contact. The power of her explosions is dependent on the mass of the object she is charging, for example, a charged playing card explodes with the force of a grenade. She can also increase kinetic energy in an object, so that something like a bo staff in her hands could level a small house. Also, because of the constant buzz of kinetic energy being altered in her brain, she is usually undetectable/invincible to all but the highest order of telepaths and psionics. She is a natural acrobat due to her innate understanding of energy.
Mutant ability (Secondary): In time, Wildcard will develop the ability to create an all-encompassing aura of kinetic energy, meaning that she will gain enhanced superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes. She'll also gain even more agility and flexibility (similar to that of Nightcrawler). She'll also be able to wallcrawl by being able to produce enough static electricity that she will stick to most surfaces.
Personality: The quintessential wild-child, Kait is a rebelliously playful girl trying to outrun her demons. Struggling with the scars of a difficult childhood, she finds solace with the X-Men, finally feeling at home with the family she's never had yet always wanted. She is, therefore, very protective of her friends.

Real name: Ravi Ramanujan
Codename: Flashpoint
Mutant ability: Flashpoint possesses the superhuman capacity to think and move at great speeds. His entire body is adapted towards the rigors of high-speed running. The chemical processes of Flashpoint's musculature are so highly enhanced that his body does not generate fatigue poisons, the normal by-products of locomotion, which force the body to rest. Rather, his body constantly expels waste products during his accelerated respiration through exhalation. His joints are smoother and lubricated more efficiently than those of a normal human being. His tendons have the tensile strength of spring steel. His bones contain unknown materials significantly more durable than calcium to withstand the dynamic shocks of his feet touching the ground at speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Flashpoint's practical reaction time is about five times faster than a normal human's and the speed at which his brain processes information is heightened to a level commensurate with his bodily speed, enabling him to perceive his surroundings while traveling at high velocities. Flashpoint's lachrymose is more viscous than normal, thus preventing rapid evaporation and replenishment of surface fluids on his eyeballs under the influence of high wind velocity to occlude his vision.
Personality: Another proud nerd, Ravi is a science geek who spends a lot of his time marveling over the studies of Dr. Hank McCoy. He is a joker and likes to light pranks on his friends. He can be childish, but he is really a very mature person.

Real name: Valencia Song
Codename: Riot
Mutant ability: Audiokinesis empowers Riot to emit various sonic frequencies by altering the sounds sent through her vocal chords, allowing her to create energy lances, shatter or disintegrate solid objects, deflect incoming projectiles, eavesdrop on distance sounds, create a masking field that prevents sound from entering or exit a certain area, or send others into a trance, render them unconscious, cause hallucinatory fits, hypnotically control their minds or make them experience intense adoration for her.
Personality: Perhaps even wilder than Kait, Val is a total punk rock princess. An expert guitarist with a bigger than life voice (even without the use of her powers), Val is as laid back as can possibly be. Openly bisexual, Val is proud of surviving the knocks life has dealt her and wants to help others escape situations like the ones she has experienced.

Real name: Ashley Wayne Woodard
Codename: Kilowatt
Mutant ability (Initial): Electrokinesis allows Kilowatt the ability to absorb, generate, conduct, and control various forms of electricity. He can discharge stored biokinetic or electrostratic energy in stunning bolts or, absorb electrical currents to replenish his energy and revitalize himself, and in certain instances direct the electromagnetic energy in the atmosphere and usher lightning bolts from the sky. He also can channel the electrostatic energy he absorbs into bursts of superhuman speed, discharging excess electricity in his wake.
Mutant ability (Secondary): Eventually, Kilowatt will be able to transform himself into a current of pure sentient electric energy as well as develop low-level magnetic powers.
Personality: Ashley is a prettyboy who's heart is as attractive as his outside. Though he can be a little vain and occasionally flippant concerning others' feelings, he truly is a good person who wants to make the world a better place for everyone, including his fellow mutants and metahumans.
