The Clown Prince of Crime, The Joker, has a wrap sheet as long as his shadow, a cruel wit, and a maniacally genius mind of concocting unbelievable feats of villainy. Immortal enemy of Batman, The Joker went a step too far when he tried to kill Batman and then-Robin Jason Todd. His plan backfired, presumably killing him in the fallout.

Tallulah “Tulah” Dent is the second-eldest of the Dent siblings. Sister to criminal clown princess Harley Quinn and ‘straight and narrow’ Gotham City District Attorney Harvey Dent, Tallulah serves as deputy mayor to Anthony Garcia. Tulah does the legwork that Mayor Garcia isn’t available to do, and she does her job well. Unfortunately for her, her good work had not gone unnoticed. The Joker, in a scheme orchestrated months before his seeming demise, had planned to exploit the three Dent children after discovering the family had a troubling history of mental illness. For each of the three children, he had set up a chain of events that would lead each down the path of madness. For Tulah, that meant preying on her dissociative identity disorder. Eventually, The Joker had Tulah routinely sprayed with lightened dosages the very chemical concoction that created him. Tulah lost herself in a new persona and, in a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde scenario, slowly began switching back and forth between her usual calm and composed self, and a manic state of hyperactivity and rage. It wasn’t until the Joker’s apparent death that Tulah’s alternate identity gave itself a name: The Joker.

For months, Tulah has been splitting her time between herself and Joker, blacking out and losing time between it all. She’s trying to keep it under wraps and hasn’t sought help out of fear and pride, but each time she shifts into the Joker personality, it’s for longer periods of time. And during that time, The Joker has gotten right back into the mix of the criminal underground of Gotham City.
